Emily Adelizzi, Genetics PhD candidate in the Dunnwald Lab, was awarded the Mary J. C Hendrix Leadership Award. The Award recognizes a senior graduate student in Anatomy and Cell Biology Department for exceptional contributions to the Department and to students over a sustained period. Criteria include excellence and devotion to teaching, leadership in student governance and promotion of student and faculty goodwill, along with outstanding personal performance in research.

Emily also recently received a student impact grant through the University of Iowa Center for Advancement. Congratulations Emily on all of your recent accomplishments!
