Questions regarding student financial aid should be directed to the University of Iowa Office of Student Financial Aid. 

If your loan deferment application requires an Authorized Official's Certification, follow these steps to download the documentation from the University of Iowa Registrar's Office.

1. Got to MyUI
2. Click on the Student Information tab at the top
3. Under Documents and Reports click Verification
4. In the drop-down menu, select enrollment verification
5. In the Purpose drop down menu, select Loan Deferment
6. Click view and the document will download
