We specialize in using mouse genetics to study biology and diseases of the eye.
Biography
We study the basic biology of the eye and mechanisms underlying a variety of complex diseases. Many current projects focus on glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness. Other active projects involve genetic modifiers of retinal degeneration and gene-environment interactions impacting ocular development.
