Current Topics in Seminar Series
Each Spring semester the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Genetics offers the Current Topics in Genetics seminar series. Distinguished scientists from across the nation are invited to present the latest research in a broad array of genetics topics. Lectures are attending by the Genetics students and faculty as well as being open to the scientific community. Enhancing the graduate student training, students of the Genetics Program study a paper on the lectures research in preparation of a discussion with the guest lectures. Students also have an opportunity for informal meetings with the guest lecture.
