Nathan Mohar (Wallrath Laboratory) was awarded the Rex Montgomery Dissertation Prize for his PhD thesis titled "Genetic Modifiers and Treatments for Striated Muscle Laminopathies". The Rex Montgomery Dissertation Prize is endowed by a generous gift from Dr. Rex Montgomery, a former faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The award recognizes the most meritorious dissertation by a doctoral student conducting research in prevention of disease and/or the translation of research into clinical practice.
